上海外国语大学中亚研究中心
为贯彻把学科建设作为新世纪发展中心环节的战略决策，推动建立起以区域研究为特色的国际问题与国际关系科研体系，上海外国语大学于2010年6月成立“上海外国语大学中亚研究中心”。上海外国语大学中亚研究中心建立了“上海外国语大学中国中亚研究网”，创办了《中亚研究通讯》（不定期）。
上海外国语大学中亚研究中心依托上海外国语大学国际问题与国际关系学科的雄厚基础，利用上海外国外国语大学多种外国语研究的优势，围绕中亚地区政治、经济、外交、法律、社会、文化等领域进行研究，主要研究方向为：中亚政治和外交、中国中亚外交、上海合作组织、中亚经济转型、中亚各国法律与社会文化、大国在中亚的利益等。上海外国语大学中亚研究中心组织举办国际国内学术会议，与国内外研究机构、专家、学者开展学术交流，接收国外访问学者。同时，上海外国语大学中亚研究中心还招收国际关系专业中亚方向博士生，培养中亚研究方面的高层次专门人才。

The Centre for Central Asia Studies of Shanghai International Studies University (CCAS) was founded in June 2010 as an effort to implement the strategic decision of “making disciplines construction the key part of development in the new century” and promote the establishment of a scientific international issues and relations research system featured by regional studies. CCAS has established the website of “www.ccas.shisu.edu.cn” and published the magazine of "Bulletin of Central Asia Studies" at irregular intervals.
CCAS carries out its studies of Central Asia politics, economy, diplomacy, law, society, culture and other fields on the solid basis of the university’s international issues and relations disciplines and foreign language studies, and the researches focus on: Central Asia politics and diplomacy, diplomacy between Central Asia and China, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, economic restructuring of Central Asia, law and socio-culture of Central Asian countries, the interests of major powers in Central Asia and so on. CCAS organizes and holds international and domestic academic conferences for academic exchanges with domestic and foreign research institutes, experts and scholars, and receives visiting scholars from abroad. Meanwhile, CCAS also recruits PhD students majoring in international relations to develop high-level expertise in Central Asia studies.
